About Us

Mahalaxmi Group (Since 1905)
The foundation to this group was laid by Shri Peareylal Agarwal ji in 1905 when he setup M/S Peareylal Ramkumar in Pilibhit. The company primarily dealt in food grains, oil seeds, sugar, forest produce and related commodities. With time the group diversified into industry with the setting up of M/S Mahalaxmi Rice Mill in 1966 and M/S Mahalaxmi Sugar Sulphation Plant in 1972. In 1985 the group further entered the fertilizer CNF and stockist business setting up one of UP’s largest rural fertilizer wholesale and retail business.

Post our family partition in 1988 our branch of the family has ventured into the following areas:

1. Automotive Business – Mahalaxmi Motors, Mahalaxmi Autoworld Pvt Ltd (Since 2001)

2. Farm Equipment Business- Mahalaxmi Tractors (Since 1992)

3. Warehousing and Real Estate Business- Mahalaxmi Warehousing Pvt Ltd (Since 1988)

4. Fertilisers and Chemical Business- Mahalaxmi Chemicals (Since 2020)

5. Packaging: ShriHari Mahalaxmi Industries Pvt. Ltd.

Promoters of the group combined hold nearly 50 acres of land which is currently used for mango orchards, commercial plantation of poplar trees and cultivation of food grain crops.

About Directors:
Mr. Shivom Agarwal is the custodian of the group. Under his directions and guidance the group is growing. Mr. Amar Agarwal and Mr. Anil Agarwal are sons of Mr. Shivom Agarwal they helped the group to venture into automobile industry and other businesses. Mr. Shashwat Agarwal have completed his B.TECH from Vellore Institute of Technology and Mr. Pranshu Agarwal have completed his education from Symbiosis International University both of them have just joined the business.

Automotive Business
We are associated with Mahindra and Mahindra Automotive Division in the regions of Bareilly, Rampur (M/S Mahalaxmi Motors). Annually we sell around 1500 vehicles in this division. We are also associated with Mahindra and Mahindra Trucks and Buses Division (M/S Mahalaxmi Autoworld Pvt. Ltd.) for the regions of JP Nagar, Moradabad, Sambhal, Bareilly, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Rampur, Bijnor and Pilibhit.

Farm Equipment Business
We ventured into the Farm Equipment Business in 1992 with Mahalaxmi Tractors at Pilibhit. We were associated with Escorts Tractors till 2015 (family migrated from Pilibhit to Bareilly). In our years of operation, we were able to jump from a meagre 12%MS to an average 48%MS in Pilibhit.
In 2015, we started our association with Swaraj Tractors at Bareilly. Using our expertise and in-depth understanding of the rural market, we were able to increase the MS from 22% to current 40%. We currently sell 500 tractors in Bareilly. In 2019, the company has further added Dhanaura, JP Nagar to our territory with plans to further expand us in this region.

Warehousing and Real Estate Business
We own a 125000 sq.ft. warehousing complex in Pilibhit (currently rented to a seed plant). The group has recently developed and rented a retail mall at the posh location of Chatri Chauraha, Pilibhit to NY Mall, Unit of 1 India Mart Ltd. We are also planning to build Pilibhit first shopping complex cum theatre 40,000sqft at Chatri Chauraha, Pilibhit. The group also owns retail space at posh Ayub Khan Chauraha in the centre of Bareilly. The group also owns 40 acres of Mango orchard in Pilibhit with 400+ mango trees.

Mahalaxmi Chemicals
We ventured into chemical business in 2020 and are currently manufacturing Ferrous Sulphate, Magnesium Sulphate, Zinc and other micro nutrients and as well as refine and grind sulphur for different industries. We supply it to the industries under Mahalaxmi Chemicals and are retailing under “Satvik”

ShriHari Mahalaxmi Industries Pvt. Ltd.
The group has ventured itself into the business of manufacturing Honeycomb paper panels in Moradabad. The unit will be the first in Moradabad manufacturing these papers boards. The paper boards are used as packaging material which are used as substitute to thermocol. The unit is being set up under ShriHari Mahalaxmi Industries Pvt. Ltd. The boards are 100% recyclable and bio degradable.
